"Oma Dedekind" Mealie Bread

Ingredients
- • 1 XL Egg
- • 1 "sweetcorn cream" Can (400g)
- • ¾ Cup Cake Flour
- • ¾ Cup Mealie Meal (Maize Meal)
- • 2 tsp baking powder
- • 1½ Tbps brown sugar
- • ½ Tbps full cream milk
- • ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- 1.) Mix egg and salt well in a bowl
- 2.) "add" Can of sweetcorn
- 3.) Once mixed, sift remaining dry ingredients & "add" to the mixture
- 4.) Mix well & add the milk
- 5.) Once mixed well, place it into a metal bowl & steam for 1½ hours
